“Global Landmarks Glow Green for St. Patrick’s Day”

The global celebration of St. Patrick’s Day is in full swing as renowned landmarks around the world are glowing in vibrant green hues today. From the iconic skyline of New York to the ancient wonders of Europe, famous monuments are being illuminated in green, creating a festive atmosphere that highlights Ireland.

Participating in this year’s illuminations are landmarks such as Niagara Falls, Canada’s CN Tower, Scotland’s National Wallace Monument, and Germany’s picturesque Heidecksburg Castle, all coming together to pay homage to the occasion.

Tourism Ireland’s initiative has transformed some of the world’s most recognizable sights into radiant symbols of Irish heritage. The Empire State Building in New York and Germany’s enchanting Heidecksburg Castle were among the standout landmarks bathed in green as part of the Global Greening campaign.

Other notable landmarks joining the celebration include the Hôtel de Ville in Cannes, France, the Cibeles Fountain in the Spanish capital, the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy, and the Wiener Riesenrad in Vienna, Austria.
