Stars from the music industry are congregating in Manchester for the annual MOBO Awards, a celebration dedicated to black music and culture. The event, held at the Co-op Live venue, will be hosted by hip-hop legend Eve and Eddie Kadi from I’m A Celebrity. Attendees can look forward to performances by artists such as Olivia Dean, FLO, and Tiwa Savage.

This year’s awards hold special significance as a specially curated grime medley will be showcased to honor the genre’s 25th anniversary. Additionally, the MOBO Awards are celebrating their own 30th anniversary milestone.

Founder of the MOBO Group, Kanya King OBE, emphasized the importance of the event, stating that for three decades, the MOBO Awards have not just been a show but a movement that influences culture, supports creativity, and provides opportunities for talented individuals. The choice of Manchester as the 2026 location underscores the city’s musical heritage and sets the stage for the next chapter in cultural history.

Eve and Eddie Kadi are set to host the 2026 MOBO Awards at the Co-op Live in Manchester. Eve expressed her excitement for co-hosting the event during its 30th anniversary, highlighting the shared passion for music and cultural representation. Eddie Kadi, returning for a second year as co-host, emphasized the legacy of MOBO in celebrating Black music excellence across genres.

The 2026 ceremony will be live-streamed on Twitch by Amazon Music, starting at 8pm on 26th March. Expect captivating performances from Olivia Dean, FLO, and Tiwa Savage, alongside a special grime medley curated by DJ Target to mark the genre’s milestone. Rapper Aitch from Moston, known for his recent appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, is also slated to perform.
