“Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie Opt Out of Easter with Royals amid Epstein Fallout”

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have opted out of Easter celebrations with the royal family, according to royal sources. The sisters have faced increasing scrutiny over their connection to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender. Both were mentioned in the recent release of Epstein files by the US State Department.

Their parents, former prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, were stripped of their royal titles by King Charles last October, as their names also appeared prominently in the Epstein files. Although there are no accusations against Beatrice or Eugenie, their father vehemently denies any wrongdoing.

While the princesses attended the Christmas gathering at Sandringham estate in Norfolk with the royal family, they have now chosen to make alternative plans for Easter. The decision, made in coordination with the King, means they will not be present at the traditional Easter Matins service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle this Sunday, but are expected to participate in future family events.

Despite the King’s previous support, reports indicate a change in the situation following ongoing revelations related to the Epstein scandal. There are concerns within royal circles about issuing public statements concerning the princesses as the situation evolves.

Speculation suggests that Beatrice and Eugenie may not attend the upcoming Royal Ascot event in June, where the royals typically gather. However, no final decision has been made regarding their participation. Additionally, their father, Mountbatten-Windsor, will also be absent from Easter celebrations this weekend due to recent legal issues.

The King has reportedly set a deadline for Prince Andrew to vacate his previous residence, the Royal Lodge mansion, to erase any traces of his presence. Royal aides have been clearing out the property, including the staff quarters where Andrew was previously accommodated.

Furthermore, Sarah Ferguson, the princesses’ mother, has maintained a low profile amidst mounting pressure related to her association with Epstein. Recent reports suggest she has traveled to various locations discreetly. Calls have been made for her to provide sworn testimony in the US regarding her knowledge of Epstein’s activities, although legal compulsion is not possible.

Ferguson recently lost her Freedom of the City of York title, as city councillors unanimously decided to revoke the honor. The situation continues to evolve as public scrutiny intensifies on the royal family’s ties to the Epstein scandal.
