Police authorities have shared a surveillance image of an individual they want to interview regarding a sexual assault incident at an Irish pub. The incident reportedly occurred at Katie O’Brien’s Irish Tavern in Sheffield city center around 12:50 am last Wednesday. Authorities urge anyone present at the venue or nearby who may have witnessed the individual to come forward.
The individual in question is described as white, standing between 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slim build and short grey/brown hair, wearing a grey jacket. South Yorkshire Police released a statement stating that they are actively investigating the matter and hope that the CCTV image will aid in their inquiries.
Although the image quality is not optimal, authorities believe it may trigger memories for those present in the vicinity at the time. If anyone has information, they are encouraged to contact the police either online or by calling 101, referencing investigation number 14/47920/26. Additionally, individuals can choose to remain anonymous by providing information to the independent charity Crimestoppers through their UK Contact Centre or online reporting form.
