Police are seeking a woman in connection with the sexual assault and theft of a gold chain from a 70-year-old man in Aylesbury. The incident occurred on March 19 around 12.40pm when the victim was approached by the woman on a footpath between Jackson Road and Aston Close. The suspect touched the man inappropriately and offered “sexual services” before snatching his gold Cubin Link chain and fleeing towards Autumn Close.
Described as a woman of Malaysian or Thai descent with a specific accent, the suspect is believed to be in her early to mid-30s and stands approximately 5ft to 5ft 2ins tall. The victim was uninjured during the incident. Another incident involving a 70-year-old man being sexually assaulted and robbed of his Rolex watch occurred on April 8 in the same area.
Detective Constable Mandy Cutler stated that the two incidents are being treated as linked and are under investigation. The police are exploring possible connections to similar incidents elsewhere and are urging anyone with information about the March 19 incident to come forward.
