“Sky TV Merges Channels for Enhanced Family Viewing”

Share

Sky TV customers will notice a significant change in their channel lineup starting April 30. Sky has merged Sky Cinema Animation, previously on channel 312, into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to streamline content access by consolidating family-friendly films into one channel.

Despite the merger, viewers will not lose any content; instead, all the familiar movies such as Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will now be available on a single channel. Sky ensures that all the content from the former Sky Cinema Animation will still be accessible through Sky Cinema Family.

For fans of Sky Cinema Animation, there is good news. The channel will make temporary comebacks during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This way, kids can enjoy their favorite films when out of school.

By merging these channels, Sky aims to enhance the viewing experience for families and simplify the channel lineup.
