Trump Warns of Drastic Action Against Iran

Donald Trump has removed Vice President JD Vance from the team handling negotiations for a peace agreement with Iran. The US president has issued a stern warning, stating that if a peace deal is not reached, he is prepared to take drastic action against the entire country.

Trump informed The Weekend that Vance will not be part of the delegation traveling to Islamabad due to security concerns. Instead, the team will be led by Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner, with scheduled meetings in Islamabad starting on Tuesday and potentially extending into Wednesday.

In an interview with Fox News, the president emphasized that the upcoming talks are Iran’s final opportunity to sign the deal. Trump emphasized that failure to reach an agreement would result in severe consequences, stating, “If Iran refuses to sign this deal, the entire country will face destruction.”

This development follows Trump’s recent threats to target Iran’s power plants and bridges in a social media post. The president accused Iran of violating a ceasefire agreement after reported incidents of Iranian gun boats firing on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran had announced the closure of the strategic waterway while the US maintained a blockade on Iranian ports.

In his latest communication, Trump urged Iran to accept the deal during the upcoming negotiations in Islamabad, warning that failure to do so would lead to the destruction of all power plants and bridges in Iran. He concluded with a forceful declaration, stating, “NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy, and if they don’t take the DEAL.”

This is not the first time Trump has made threats regarding Iran’s infrastructure. Earlier posts on social media indicated his willingness to carry out destructive actions against Iran’s vital facilities if diplomatic efforts fail.
