Chappell Roan addresses incident involving Jude Law’s daughter, Ada, which left her in tears. Premier League star Jorginho claimed that Ada was upset after encountering Chappell at their hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Allegedly, a security guard associated with Chappell approached Ada and her mother, Cat Cavelli, in a confrontational manner before the singer’s performance at Lollapalooza.
Responding on social media, Chappell clarified her perspective, stating she was unaware of the incident until later. She expressed regret over any discomfort caused to Ada and her mother, emphasizing that she did not instigate the security guard’s actions. Jorginho recounted the incident on Instagram, highlighting the distress experienced by Ada due to the guard’s aggressive approach.
Following the controversy, the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Cavaliere, announced on Twitter that Chappell has been barred from performing at the upcoming Todo Mundo No Rio festival. He declared Ada as the “guest of honour” for the event. Chappell, also known as Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, previously criticized fans for intrusive behavior in 2024, advocating for boundaries between celebrities and their audience.
