Paultons Park, recognized for being the home of Peppa Pig World, is introducing a new themed area tailored towards older children and adults. Named Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, this new world will officially debut on May 16, just before the half-term break, featuring fresh rides and themed experiences.
The main attractions in Valgard include Drakon, the park’s first inverted rollercoaster with a thrilling vertical lift, Vild Swing, a ride that swings passengers 39ft high, and Raven, a bobsled ride now revamped to align with the Viking theme. Visitors can immerse themselves further in Valgard’s themed play area and dining facilities.
Enthusiasts can already secure tickets for Paultons Park, granting access to the main park, Peppa Pig World, and various themed zones like Tornado Springs. The World of PAW Patrol has recently opened at Chessington, offering four new rides catering to young children, including Chase’s Mountain Mission and Skye’s Helicopter Heroes. At Alton Towers, the popular CBeebies Land now features a kid-friendly rollercoaster, Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies!
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is set to unveil Aviktas, a new gyro swing ride, this spring, which will be the UK’s tallest of its kind at 138ft. Additionally, Crealy in Devon has introduced Pirates’ Plummet, an 80ft drop tower, and plans to launch Rotor, an inverting air race ride. Pleasurewood Hills is undergoing renovations with four new rides in the pipeline, including Star Flyer, Spinning Coaster, Apple Coaster, and the Big Wheel.
