Iran’s foreign minister dismissed recent threats made by U.S. President Donald Trump, who announced intentions to launch an “unprecedented economic operation” against Iran. Abbas Araghchi stated that Trump’s plan is a distraction from America’s own financial crisis and warned that persisting with failed policies would lead to further defeat and animosity towards Iranians. Trump’s declaration of unleashing economic warfare and isolation on Iran followed his failure to secure a lasting peace agreement.
