“Joshua vs. Fury Fight Nearing Reality: Talks Progressing”

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury’s anticipated fight is nearing reality as Eddie Hearn disclosed that talks have progressed significantly. Joshua is poised for a comeback in July after a delay earlier this year due to a car accident. The British boxer has been training with Oleksandr Usyk and recently made a public appearance in the UK at Derek Chisora’s match against Deontay Wilder.

Following Fury’s recent victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov, he immediately called for a showdown with Joshua, who has yet to confirm the bout. Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, expressed optimism about Joshua’s return in the upcoming months, hinting at two fights with Fury planned to be aired on DAZN and Netflix.

Although there were talks of the fight possibly happening in Dublin at Croke Park, Hearn emphasized that the fight location is at the discretion of Turki Alalshikh. The funding for the fight will be overseen by Alalshikh, who aims to make history with the event. The promotion for the fight is expected to involve multiple entities but has not been finalized.

The first fight is expected to be broadcast on DAZN with discussions ongoing for the second fight on Netflix. The final decisions regarding the fight logistics will be made by Alalshikh.
