A fresh face has entered the world of TV judging as CBS Media Ventures unveiled a preview on Thursday for “Adam’s Law,” a new daytime courtroom series featuring Adam Levy, the son of the renowned Judge Judy. Displaying a similar no-nonsense demeanor, Levy showcases his quick-witted and sharp-tongued approach in the trailer, drawing parallels to his famous mother’s courtroom style.

Interestingly, Judge Judy initially had reservations about passing on the judicial torch to her son, jokingly expressing concerns about him potentially outshining her. The upcoming show, set to debut on September 14 and executive produced by Judge Judy herself, marks Levy’s venture into the spotlight following his extensive legal background, including serving as a district attorney and teaching trial advocacy.

With the legacy of “Judge Judy” behind them, Levy and his mother both share confidence in the success of “Adam’s Law,” with Judge Judy predicting it to become a leading program in daytime television. The show will air on various CBS-owned stations in the U.S., such as CBS LA and WCBS-TV, as well as on Citytv in Canada starting on the premiere date. Viewers can anticipate the same level of entertainment and dedication to justice that made Judge Judy a household name for over three decades.
