The Cheltenham Festival is currently underway, and Gloucestershire saw a large turnout for Ladies Day with attendees showcasing unique and vibrant attire.

A standout individual at the festival was Megan Cunniss, a medical secretary from Galway, who captured the Best Dressed title with her elegant ensemble that she personally designed. Cunniss, 29, expressed her excitement for being at Cheltenham for the first time and shared that her outfit, though costly, was a creation she had a good feeling about.

“I used to always watch it on the telly, and now I’m here. I designed the outfit myself. I don’t know exactly how much I spent on it, but a lot,” she said. Cunniss also mentioned the involvement of her husband in bringing her designs to life through a manufacturer in the Middle East.

Despite some disagreement with her husband on outfit choices, Cunniss was pleased with her decision and the Best Dressed accolade, considering the day at Cheltenham to be special and enjoyable.
