OnlyFans founder and CEO, Leonid Radvinsky, has passed away at the age of 43 after a prolonged battle with cancer, as confirmed by his company. The enigmatic billionaire took over Fenix International, the parent company of OnlyFans, in 2018 for an undisclosed amount. Last year, Radvinsky reportedly earned more in a mere 100 seconds than the average content creator on OnlyFans earns in a year.
In a statement quoted by Bloomberg, the London-based company expressed deep sorrow over Radvinsky’s demise, stating that he peacefully passed away after fighting cancer for an extended period. The family has requested privacy during this challenging time.
At the time of his passing, the Ukrainian-American entrepreneur was the sole owner of the company and resided in Florida with his family. Radvinsky’s acquisition of OnlyFans occurred in 2018, two years after the platform was founded by British entrepreneurs Guy and Tim Stokely.
The platform, known for its adult content, experienced a surge in popularity during the lockdown period. While not all content on OnlyFans is explicit, the platform’s rapid growth can be attributed largely to user-generated adult content.
OnlyFans creators have the option to monetize their content by placing it behind a paywall, where fans pay a monthly subscription fee for access. Creators can also earn additional income through tips and pay-per-view content. The platform facilitated £238 million in payments in 2019, a figure that skyrocketed to £5.3 billion by 2023.
According to Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaire rankings as of October 2025, Radvinsky had amassed a net worth of $7.8 billion. In 2024, Radvinsky and his wife publicly supported a $23 million grant program for cancer research. Additionally, Radvinsky expressed his intention on his personal website to join the Giving Pledge, committing to donate a significant portion of his wealth to charitable causes.
