“Suicide Drones Strike Dubai Financial District”

Share

Debris from Iranian suicide drones hit Dubai’s financial district this morning amidst the ongoing conflict causing chaos in the popular tourist destination.

The city’s skyline was obscured by dense clouds of black smoke on Friday morning as a fire erupted in an industrial zone.

A thick cloud of gray smoke was visible rising above the city from the explosion site, with the iconic Burj Khalifa standing tall in the background.

These visuals follow a previous incident where a fire broke out at a high-rise building near Dubai Creek Harbor after additional Iranian strikes on the city.

Earlier this week, four individuals were injured in an Iranian assault on the city’s airport.

Local officials confirmed on Friday that there were no reported injuries in the recent attacks on Dubai International Financial Centre. The recent explosion was a result of debris generated from an aerial intercept, according to authorities.

Iranian airstrikes continue to target Gulf states in the aftermath of the US-Israeli strike on Iran last week, which resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

In Oman, two people have been reported killed following the downing of a drone in Sohar province, as per Oman’s state news agency.

On the other hand, Israel’s Health Ministry reports that over 2,975 individuals have been wounded in the attacks since the US-Israel war on Iran commenced on February 28.

Saudi Arabia’s defense ministry states that it has intercepted and destroyed at least 28 drones entering its airspace in a series of recent incidents.
