A young child, aged three, sustained critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle in an underground parking lot in Dublin earlier today. The incident took place near Dunnes Stores in Charlestown, prompting swift emergency response to the scene.

The toddler was swiftly transported to a hospital in critical condition. Authorities, responding to the scene, confirmed the occurrence of a serious traffic collision in Finglas, Dublin 11. The incident happened around 8:40 am on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, involving a car striking the young child in the underground parking area.
