A chilling incident unfolded when a man allegedly attempted to gain entry into a residence where a mother and her child were alone. The unsettling footage captured the man outside the house engaging with the homeowner via a Ring doorbell camera. Dressed in a long coat, anime T-shirt, and glasses, the man demanded the owner to open the door and inquired about the owner’s daughter’s whereabouts.
Persistently, the man threatened to force his way in, expressing concern for the safety of those inside. Despite the homeowner’s pleas for him to leave and assurance of safety, the man persisted, banging on the door and attempting to breach it aggressively.
Authorities revealed that the man, identifying himself as Harry Dresden, a fictional character, made his attempt while the homeowner’s husband was away, leaving a woman and child inside. The homeowner, alerted by a security camera, rushed back home. However, before his return, the intruder managed to enter through a sliding glass door.
A confrontation ensued between the homeowner and the intruder, resulting in both sustaining head injuries. Police arrived promptly, arresting the man identified as Jason Nichols, 30, who was later charged with multiple felonies. Nichols was taken into custody after receiving medical treatment and was booked into jail.

Nichols faces charges including gross bodily harm, intent to terrorize, burglary, and vandalism, with bail set at $35,000 (£26,000).
