A man, identified as Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, aged 27, has been captured in a photo for the first time following his denial in court of killing a 21-year-old individual at Primrose Hill. The victim, Finbar Sullivan, a student of filmmaking, tragically passed away after an alleged stabbing incident at the popular north London location. Ogunyankinnu vehemently proclaimed his innocence during a brief court appearance at Stratford Magistrates’ Court, expressing, “I didn’t kill anybody, I didn’t stab anybody, they’ve got the wrong person,” before being escorted to detention.
District Judge Ashwinder Gill informed Ogunyankinnu that the severity of his case warranted a trial at the Central Criminal Court rather than at the magistrates’ court.
The fatal incident occurred on Tuesday evening at Primrose Hill, triggering a police response following reports of a confrontation. The victim’s father, Christopher, disclosed that his son sustained fatal injuries, including a critical stab wound to his leg leading to severe bleeding.
Christopher recounted that Finbar had visited the picturesque location to test a new camera he received for his 21st birthday. Upon receiving a distressing call from Finbar’s friend reporting the incident, Christopher rushed to Primrose Hill only to be informed by authorities of his son’s tragic demise.
Describing his son as a vibrant and loving individual, Christopher expressed profound grief over the loss, emphasizing the irreplaceable nature of his son and the immense sorrow he feels.
Additionally, Christopher shared Finbar’s aspirations to pursue a career akin to his grandfather, renowned cameraman Michael Seresin, known for his work on notable films such as “Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban” and “Rambo III.”
