“Trump Shares AI Image with Jesus Likeness, Claims ‘God’s Trump Card'”

Donald Trump has once again shared an AI-generated image portraying himself in a Jesus-like manner, accompanied by a peculiar statement suggesting that “God might be playing his Trump card.” The image, originally posted by an account named “Irish for Trump” (@Dkelly4congress), features a figure resembling Jesus standing closely beside Trump with both arms around him.

In the post by @Dkelly4congress, the caption reads: “I was never a very religious man… but doesn’t it seem, with all these satanic, demonic, child sacrificing monsters being exposed… that God might be playing his Trump card!” Trump shared the image and caption on his Truth Social account, noting that while some “radical left lunatics” might not appreciate the image, he finds it “quite nice.”

This latest image-sharing comes after Trump previously posted and later removed an AI-generated image showing himself as a Jesus-like figure supposedly healing a sick man in a hospital bed. The initial post on Truth Social, which was taken down after sparking strong criticism, received backlash from various political factions in the US, including some of Trump’s supporters who deemed the depiction as blasphemous.

Subsequently, Trump explained to CBS News that he removed the image to avoid confusion among people, especially given the significant number of Catholics in the US, comprising about 20% of the population. Not long before this incident, Trump launched a scathing attack on Pope Leo XIV on Truth Social, criticizing the Pope’s stance on various issues related to crime and foreign policy.

In response to Trump’s comments, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian condemned what he perceived as the “desecration of Jesus” while expressing support for the Pope. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, a Catholic and close ally of Trump, denounced Trump’s remarks about the Pope as “unacceptable,” emphasizing the Pope’s role in advocating for peace and condemning war.

Pope Leo XIV, unfazed by the criticisms, asserted that he has no fear of the Trump administration and will continue to uphold the message of the Gospel.
