A lucky individual from the UK who won a lottery prize of £10.6 million has missed the opportunity to claim the substantial sum. Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, announced today that no valid claim was submitted for the £10.6 million Lotto jackpot prize.

The winning Lotto ticket, valued at an impressive £10,633,323, was purchased in the London Borough of Bexley for the draw on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Despite extensive coverage leading up to the deadline, which expired 180 days after the draw on Thursday, April 2, the ticket-holder failed to come forward to claim their prize.

When prizes are not claimed within the 180-day timeframe, they are typically allocated to the National Lottery’s Good Causes fund. Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, confirmed that the unclaimed prize and any accrued interest will now benefit National Lottery Good Causes.

Despite efforts to locate the elusive Bexley millionaire, the ticket-holder did not step forward to claim the life-changing sum of money. The unclaimed funds will now contribute to the £33 million raised weekly for National Lottery-funded projects, including those in the Bexley area.

There are currently five significant National Lottery prizes exceeding £3.2 million each that remain unclaimed. Players are urged to check their tickets to see if they are winners.

In related news, a fortunate Brit recently claimed the third-largest UK National Lottery prize ever. The player matched all five main numbers and two lucky star numbers to win an astonishing £181,073,415.70 in the EuroMillions jackpot draw on March 10.

Andy Carter expressed excitement about the incredible win, stating that the player now possesses a fortune comparable to Adele. Carter emphasized that this jackpot win will undoubtedly transform the winner’s life, as well as impact their family, friends, and communities.
