He was located in the river at approximately 7:17 am local time on the same day and was taken to a medical facility where medical professionals confirmed his death. The duration of time the child spent in the water was unknown, as per law enforcement officials.

It was believed that the young boy wandered about four blocks away from his home after his father’s last check on him around midnight. He was reported missing shortly before 5 am and subsequently found a little over two hours later, after which he was promptly taken to the hospital. By 11:30 am local time, authorities announced the boy’s demise.

Faucher mentioned seeing drones and numerous law enforcement vehicles in the area.
