Entalula Beach in Palawan has been crowned as the top beach in the world for this year. The selection process by The World’s 50 Best Beaches involved extensive exploration by judges, Beach Ambassadors, and the team to compile their 2026 list.
Last year’s winner, Cala Goloritzé in Sardinia, Italy, known for its raw beauty and emotional impact, fell out of the top ten this time around. Entalula Beach, located in the Similan Islands National Park, stood out for its clear turquoise waters, rounded granite boulders, and pristine white sand. Accessible only from November to May, the beach is closed off during the rest of the year for habitat restoration.
Koh Rong in Cambodia offers a tranquil escape with its long stretch of white sand and minimal development. Strict regulations have preserved the beach’s charm and cleanliness, making it a popular but unspoiled destination. Shoal Bay East in Anguilla and East Beach on Vomo Island also made it to the top ten for their quiet, picturesque settings.
Nosy Iranja off the coast of Madagascar boasts two connected islands with a sandbar, ideal for snorkeling among turtles. Wharton Beach in Australia provides a remote escape with its crystal-clear waters and uncrowded shores. Fteri Beach on Kefalonia offers a secluded cove surrounded by white cliffs and pristine turquoise waters.
Entalula Beach’s standout feature is its towering limestone cliffs juxtaposed against soft white sand, creating a visually stunning backdrop. Accessible only by boat, the beach remains peaceful despite its immense beauty.
